The Norwalk Senior Center is a non-profit agency which provides services for older adults the in mid-Fairfield County area. The Center stirves to enrich and improve the quality of life for mature individuals and their communities.
The Norwalk Senior Center is supported by the City of Norwalk, the United Way of Coastal Fairfield County, the Southwestern CT Agency on Aging and by over 2,000 members.
The Hochheimer Memorial Scholarship Fund:
The Hochheimer Memorial Scholarship Fund, in memory of the Center's Founding Directors Lawrence and Irene Hochheimer, provides full and partial scholarships to any Norwalk resident in need of financial assistance to participate in any Center program or activity.
The Norwalk Senior Center is open
Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Norwalk Senior Center South is open
Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Yearly membership of $20.00 includes home delivery of the bimonthly newsletter, a discount coupon for Super Grade A Shop Rite, special discounts on classes, programs and trips.
The Norwalk Senior Center is member-supported. We count on your donations to provide essential services to all of our members. We also count on you to tell us what you would like the Center to offer. So tell us! Your suggestion might make next month's calendar!
